The Founders of Vista Therapeutics are Charles Lieber, Spencer Farr, and Harvard University. Professor Charles Lieber, Ph.D. of the Harvard Chemistry Department, is widely held as the foremost pioneer in the development of nanowires and applications thereto. He is the patented inventor of most of the core inventions that enable nanowires. Spencer Farr, Ph.D. is known throughout the toxicology and drug development communities as one of the most innovative thinkers in the field. He patented and pioneered much of the early work in gene expression related to drug safety. He was a professor of molecular toxicology at Harvard and MIT and was the founder of Xenometrix and Phase-1 Toxicology, Inc.
